The exemplary involvement of a group of students in an associative mission
On the sidelines of the Trott'n'Roll, a team of young students from Nice successfully strengthened the Flavien Foundation's membership during this 11th edition. More than just a commitment, this "Club of 6" demonstrated a budding vocation.
A dynamic and united team
They didn't have to wait for instructions to find their way. On the forecourt of the Promenade Honoré II, their silhouettes stand out in the dawning light, even though the sun has not yet risen. Looking for a project to pursue as part of their business studies, Tanya, Lilie, Clara, Adrien, Julien, and Baptiste chose to join the ranks of the Fondation Flavien, whose values resonate with them.
« When I was little, I went to the Trott’n’Roll and seeing the involvement of certain volunteers, I wanted to get more involved…. It was therefore quite natural that the choice fell on the Flavien Foundation when our school asked us to participate in a project » confides Tanya.
« We were keen to get involved in a project that would bring together all generations, but that would also be of public benefit. Organize a concert or a Show is something, but it's much more complicated when it comes to raising funds for a charity! » affirm Lilie and Clara.

A few weeks earlier, the students had already prepared their plan of attack: putting up posters, distributing flyers, selling raffle tickets, etc. Their part in the organization allowed this event to shine even more beyond the borders of Monaco.
« The Flavien Foundation is now well integrated into the Monegasque landscape. Thanks to everyone's hard work and members' donations, every small investment represents a step closer to healing our children. Thanks to the young people this year, we've reached a slightly wider audience, allowing adults, children, and teenagers to also come to the Trott'n'Roll... and why not come back for future editions! » declared Denis Maccario, which for almost 12 years has proudly carried the colours of this annual event which aims to raise funds for research into pediatric cancers.

Limitless involvement.
In office since 7 a.m. on September 13, 2025, the students gave their time, but above all their ideas and their skills throughout the day. Each at their own station, they also took turns, thus taking an interest in each of the many positions represented during the Trott’n’Roll. They participated in the organization of certain tasks in advance, then were able to devote themselves on the day to various functions, including raising awareness among participants, the entertainment stand with children's face painting and manual activities, snacks, course security, etc. All these missions allowed them to discover the organization of an event which raised more than €26,000 in revenue this year.
But the involvement of these young people doesn't stop there! They brought a new breath of fresh air to the Trott'n'roll and found a new way to grow their project.
« We have heard of associations that collect hair to create wigs for people with cancer, such as Solidhair for example, which also operates through the Flavien Foundation. Hairdressers are ultimately not very aware of this initiative and it is the customers who have to take the necessary steps, perhaps not knowing how to organize themselves... » confirms Adrien.
« We have therefore established a list of partners in the hairdressing industry and will soon be contacting them to raise awareness and perhaps create a local structure that would enable us to collect these natural gifts. » declare Julien and Baptiste.

The « Club des 6 » will quickly back on the ground to bring their school project to fruition. At less than 20 years old, these 6 valiant souls are the future of the actions carried out which aim to establish a reassuring future for our children.
